MUba Eugène Leroy is the Museum of  "Beaux Arts" of Tourcoing (Nord, near Lille).

Whenever we go at Tourcoing, where live Laurent our son and its family, we visit the MUba.

We love Eugène Leroy paints.

which is  future fame of Lessy ?

(You must click of the pictures)

1917

I can't translate it's too difficult.

To say the unsayable, some artists are spent from figurative to abstract.

History for courageous chidren (I know no other ...)

Once upon a time, in a wild country an unoccupied land ...

It was wild beasts' domain.

People  told strange histories.

Many people had fright.

Some said that the famous "Graoully"of Metz was born in the bottom of this wild country.

Time has passed, progress are came with televisions, computers, games ...

Legends have been forgotten.

Forgotten ?

No ! There was a man who studied legends of this village.

And one day, he decided to see for himself what was  in this malefic place.

He was beautiful and brave, his name :  "Prince Charmant".

(Attention, the story becomes very hard)

DSC01478

"Charmant"  took his sword.

DSC01501

Then he made passage.

DSC01481

He cut,  cut,  cut ! (cool this verb...)

DSC01485

Yet, yet, yet ...

DSC01482

Sinking ever more.

DSC01505

Sometimes it was a little discouraged.

DSC01487

Then he restarted out again.

DSC01497

We have never seen again "Charmant"

It was a sad story. Too bad !

* For those who do not know the "Graoully",

ask Jude she knows very well this history and she speaks very well.
